Max Hofer joins GT Masters Line Up

We are happy to announce that  Max Hofer, another skilled and talented driver, is joining  our ADAC GT Masters line up. Max  demonstrated  his skills  last season with the Audi RS3 LMS at the ADAC TCR Germany and  also learned in the Audi Sport TT Cup, where he  finished 7th in the overall standings in 2016. If not at the race track, the passionate simracer enjoys cycling and skiing. The 18 year old youngster from Austria will share the Audi R8 LMS GT3 with the defending TT Cup Champion Philip Ellis and will also participate over the next two years in  the Phoenix Racing Junior Programme.

Max Hofer: „I´m very happy that Phoenix Racing has put its trust in me and given me  the chance to compete, hopefully successfully, with the team. I´m really grateful  to Ernst Moser and the entire team and can´t wait to take the next step in my career.. The chemistry between the guys and me  is already good. Off to an exciting 2018 season!“

Ernst Moser: „It’s great  to have another talented driver on board. After Max’s first test sessions with the Audi R8 LMS GT3 in Portimão, we have decided together  to skip the GT4 European Championship and start him directly as a youngster at the ADAC GT Masters. The impression he  left after  the test, means it`s going to be a promising rookie campaign year for Max.“
