After a successful first year, Max Hesse will be driving in the ADAC TCR Germany for a further season. The Phoenix Junior switches vehicles for his new team Engstler Motorsport and will be at the wheel of a Hyundai i30 N TCR in the touring car series.
It is the 17-year-old’s second year in the ADAC TCR Germany and the youngster from Wernau previously demonstrated his talent during his debut season in the Audi RS3 LMS TCR: four class victories secured him the Rookie championship title. 2019 will definitely see Hesse fighting up front for top positions.
“Last year with Prosport Performance was immensely successful. I hope to continue this achievement in the coming season and aim to score top ratings”, the future Hyundai driver explains.
In addition to driving a new car, Hesse will be appearing with a new team in 2019. The Hyundai Team Engstler has been competing in the ADAC TCR Germany since the second half of the 2018 season and the Wiggensbach squad celebrated a double victory in Zandvoort in just their fourth race. Engstler Motorsport is not only participating in the touring car series, but is also be present on an international level, for example in the 24H Series.
