Even though there are some changes for the 2020 DTM season, there will be one constant: Loïc Duval and Mike Rockenfeller return to the grid with Audi Sport Team Phoenix. With their wealth of experience, Loïc and Mike will be looking to bring the DTM championship to Meuspath in our pair of Audi RS 5 DTMs.
Both drivers return on the back of a strong season: Rocky celebrated victory in Assen, collected six more podium finishes and took fourth overall in the championship. Loïc also had his moments in the limelight and ended his best season ever in the DTM with seventh place in the championship. He stood on the rostrum in both Misano and at the Dream Race in Fuji.
2020 marks the second year of the new turbo era. Fans can look forward to ten weekends of racing action, each featuring two races. The season is bookended by a trip to Zolder in Belgium and the now-traditional season finale in Hockenheim. In between we will be making our way to St. Petersburg (Russia), Anderstorp (Sweden) and Monza (Italy) for some brand-new destinations on the calendar.
To be fully prepared for the 2020 DTM season, we went to Lanzarote for the annual Audi fitness camp where a comprehensive training program awaited the works drivers.
